Brown was performing a concert in Newark, New Jersey when things went haywire. Brown was performing his song “Under the Influence.” Ironically he was suspended high in the air with only a harness supporting him.
During the performance, Brown got stuck in the air, though he continued to perform the song. However, it soon became apparent that Brown was stuck in the air as the harness had malfunctioned.

Chris Brown Gets Stuck in Air During Concert
A visibly perturbed Brown then began signaling for the stage crew to get him down and release him from the clutches of the harness. However, despite the delay, Brown continued to perform. And the fans were even more appeased than upset.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, a ladder had to be brought on stage to deliver the Grammy-Winner to safety.
“A ladder was brought to the stage, and Brown climbed down and finished performing his song, though he exchanged words with one of the tour workers who helped bring the ladder over,” the outlet wrote.
“At the end of the two-hour concert, he told the audience he was angry but also made light of the situation.”
R&B Star Recalls Wild Night Out
Brown has been in the headlines a lot recently. During a recent appearance on Tank and J. Valentine’s R&B Money Podcast, he recollected a story that set the internet on fire.
Chris details a club outing where things were going smoothly. But when the rapper began performing at the club, things went haywire.
“We get in the club. I make sure we got the whole section full of women. The person there, [he’s] looking around. The song comes on, the other artist is onstage and starts singing the song, and the whole building erupts. I’m talking about erupts. Girls in our section, they’re going crazy,” Brown recalled. “I look over to this person… not a smirk, not a head nod. Nothing.”
“The n***a goes on a 45-minute rant. I’m talking about talking, I’m talking about saying all of everything about nothing. It’s so disappointing. When I was in there I started looking around. The club [went from] being a ‘Yeah, everybody turning up, maybe we holler at some girls, what’s up’ — it went from that to looking like the waiting room in hell.”
