In the early hours of the morning on June 8th, 2014, Sandra Bullock heard a loud noise and saw a man hop her fence and break in her house. She quickly locked herself in her closet and called police, who were able to apprehend Joshua James Corbett. He was carrying a notebook stuffed with graphic messages and magazine cutouts of Bullock, and police found an arsenal of illegal weapons at his home. He had been stalking her for days before the break-in.

David Ajemian repeatedly sent threatening letters on parish letterhead, contacted O'Brien's parents and showed up to his studio on multiple occasions. Ajemian would sign off his letters with “your priest stalker," and once even asked "is this the way you treat your most dangerous fans?” after being turned away from a taping.
Back in the early 80s, Jodie Foster was plagued by the very persistent and mentally deranged John Hinckley. He wrote her a poem titled "Bloody Love" in which he described

The actress received numerous letters from Dawnette Knight, each one more intense than the last, as well as multiple death threats. One time, she even threatened to slice Zeta-Jones to pieces and feed her to her dogs. Knight was sentenced to three years in prison for her actions.
Robert Dewey Hoskins was so in love with Madonna that he threatened to slit her throat if she didn't marry him. Back in 2010, Kim Kardashian was receiving numerous messages a day from Dennis Shaun Bowman, saying they were in love and would eventually wed one day. He would also show up to many of her public appearances dressed in face paint like The Joker from "Batman." Ignoring cease-and-desist letters and orders from police to stop following her, Kardashian finally got a restraining order that even excluded her stalker from contacting her on Twitter.
Jack Jordan spent two years stalking Uma Thurman in an attempt to marry her. He sent her numerous love notes, creepy drawings and plenty of unwelcome nighttime visits. Jordan was eventually found guilty and sentenced for his actions, which included sending her notes that read, "I want you to be happy. That's not completely true. I have a strong feeling that you won't be completely happy without me. That's the only reason I haven't quit eating."
Genevieve Sabourin was able to go to dinner with Alec Baldwin thanks to being set-up by a mutual friend. Baldwin, who was married at the time, claims it was just career advice for the aspiring actress Sabourin, yet she thought it was a very romantic. She soon became infatuated with him, slaking and sending him bizarre messages expressing her love. She was eventually convicted and sentenced to 7 months in prison.

The former late night talk show host dealt with his stalker over the course of a decade back in the late 80s and early 90s. Margaret Mary Ray was in and out of prison for her actions, such as when she stole his Porsche, or the multiple times she has broken into his home or sent unsolicited messages. Everything came to a sad and dramatic conclusion when Ray took her own life by kneeling in front of a speeding train in 1998.
