Award show season officially came to a close Sunday with the Oscars. One of the highlights of the show was the "In Memoriam" tribute, which honors celebrities who have passed away in the previous year. This year, singer Billie Eilish covered the Beatles hit song "Yesterday" as pictures of fallen celebrities were shown.
It was a beautiful tribute with a stellar performance by Eilish, but fans quickly noticed something was missing. As stated in a Bazaar article, actor Cameron Boyce was not featured.
The 20 year-old actor passed away from a seizure back in July. Boyce was a Disney Channel alum, starring in the hit show Jessie as Luke Ross and the Descendants franchise as Carlos.
Luke Perry, who was on 90210 and Riverdale, was also left out of the tribute. Perry passed away in March following a stroke.
Celebrities and fans alike took to Twitter to express their outrage and disappointment of the two fallen celebrities being forgotten.
