Kids do the darndest things, that's just a fact of life. Just because someone is a celebrity, that doesn't mean that their kids will be any less weird than any other kid. That being said...we've got to talk about what Alicia Silverstone's son did when he watched Clueless for the first time with his mom. Alicia opened up about the experience during a visit to The Late Show with Stephen Colbert and it's probably the wildest thing we've heard all day.
Alicia's son, 7-year-old Bear Blu Jarecki, went with his mom to the L.A. Cemetary to watch a showing of Clueless on the big screen, surrounded by about 4,000 people, according to Alicia. She'd worried he was "too young" to watch the teen romantic comedy, but she was happy to see that he really liked it...maybe a bit too much.
"He loved it, but the one thing he took away from it, aside from all the things I was worried about, was he kept trying to French kiss me afterward," Alicia said.
Well, that's certainly not a recommended mother/son activity. Though Bear's actions might raise an eyebrow or two, it was Alicia's response to it that made us, and clearly Stephen Colbert, very uncomfortable.
As Alicia giggled away at what was clearly, in her mind, a sweet moment between mother and son, Stephen was...not as amused. Seeing this, Alicia asked him, "Are you worried?"
With lightning quickness, Stephen replied, "Nope!"
Alicia went on to assure him, "It's fine. He's not doing it anymore. But that's what his takeaway was!"
"That's good," Stephen responded, to the laughter of the audience.
We don't know what was better, watching Alicia try desperately to make this little anecdote seem cute, or Stephens desperate attempts to not say anything too raunchy about this woman frenching her son. You've got to see the clip for yourself, it's an instant classic of epically awkward proportions.
Let us know what you think in the comments below. Do you think this was too gross an anecdote to share about your kid, or is it just harmless fun?
