Kim Kardashian West's Valentine's Day was a little unusual, to say the least. Usually, on Valentine's Day, you send gifts to your loved ones and friends, but that's not how Kim wanted to do things in 2018. This year, she decided to send a little gift to both her lovers and her haters, a perfume from her newly launched fragrance line. "Alright guys, I am writing a list for my press boxes, I am going to send way more than this," Kim said during her Instagram Story she posted on February 1, alongside a photo of her "Lovers and Haters" list, "But I decided, for this Valentine's Day, everyone deserves a Valentine. So I am going to send them to my lovers, to my haters, to everyone that I think of. Because it's Valentine's Day after all."
The names on the "Lovers" side shouldn't surprise anyone. They include Kim's sisters, Kourtney, Khloe, Kendall, and Kylie. Even mom Kris Jenner made the list. It also included Kardashian BFFs Jennifer Lawrence, Chrissy Teigen, Hailey Baldwin, and Lala Anthony. Most of the "Haters" will be readily recognizable, but a quick refresher on the Kardashian feuds can't hurt, especially considering all the beefs Kim always finds herself in.
Nude photos really seem to really trigger Kim's haters. When Kim posted a nude selfie on Twitter back in 2016, plenty of people had something to say about it, but Chloë Grace Moretz's opinion clearly struck a nerve in the Kardashian Klan. She tweeted at the reality star, "@KimKardashian I truly hope you realize how important setting goals are for young women, teaching them we have so much more to offer than just our bodies." This set off a tweetstorm of epic proportions.
Kim responded first, sarcastically welcoming the Neighbor's 2: Sorority Rising star to Twitter, adding "since no one knows who she is. your nylon cover is cute boo."
Not one to miss an opportunity to bash someone she thinks might be attacking her family, Khloe stepped in to add her two cents, as well as a poorly photoshopped, explicit image of someone she claimed was Chloë, but in fact was just some poor girl trying to enjoy a day on the beach. Khloe later tweeted out a non-apology and deleted the tweet in question after Chloë and others pointed out her mistake, "I'm the last person to bully but have an animal instinct to protect and defend my family." Yeah, way to defend your family by putting some unsuspecting girl on blast, Khloe. Regardless, this little beef is still raging on.
Naya Rivera might seem like she has nothing in common with the Kardashians, but she popped up on Kim's hater radar thanks to a comment she made about Kim's "Break The Internet" Paper magazine cover. You know the one. The one where Kim's oiled up booty cheekily peeking out over her evening gown. "I normally don't," the former Glee star and mother of one commented on Kim's Instagram photo, "But...you're someone's mother..." In unrelated news, Naya was arrested on charges of domestic battery during 2017's Thanksgiving weekend after hitting her estranged husband about the head and face with a "closed fist," according to police reports.
This entry might surprise some, but those who've been paying attention know this feud started way back in 2014. Kim and her husband Kanye West had just appeared on the cover of Vogue Magazine. The power couple's appearance on the magazine's cover sparked plenty of criticism from all corners, but Sarah Michelle Gellar tweeted a pointed complaint, which is how she wound up on Kim's naughty list. She tweeted, "Well......I guess I'm canceling my Vogue subscription. Who is with me???" Even though she didn't mention any names, everyone could tell exactly who SMG was talking about. Though Kim never acknowledged the hate, she did put SMG's name on the Hater's side, so that should tell you she's still not over a tweet from almost four years ago.
If haters held an Olympics, Piers Morgan would always win the gold medal. The man practically stalks Kim K's Instagram and Twitter, looking for any opportunity to make a snide, cutting remark to the reality TV star. In an article he wrote for Daily Mail in April of 2017, he ripped Kim, her family, and her husband a new one:
"I'm done with Kim Kardashian.
And her ghastly family.
Done. Done. DONE.
I just can't stomach the sight or thought of any of these talentless, publicity-crazed, unctuously self-absorbed, vacuous wastrels for a single moment longer."
This was a very long essay that in no way means that he's obsessed with the Kardashians. Because he's not. Anyone could and would write equally long think pieces about a woman they claim to hate, spending paragraph after paragraph detailing their infamous derriere, and mourning the fact that he actually used to like her, until she got married (the second time). "Nice girl Kim married bad boy rapper Kanye West and began posting profanely captioned nude photos of herself flipping the bird. By doing so, she crossed a line from harmless fun to something altogether more crass and unpleasant," Piers lamented. Nowadays Piers spends his free time trolling Kim's Instagram, seeking out nudie pics so he can tell Kim how much he can't stand her or her massive butt.
In a 2016 tweet, P!nk, naming no names, wrote, "Shout out to all the women, across the world, using their brains, their strength, their work ethic, their talent, their 'magic' that they were born with, that only they possess. It may not ever bring you as much 'attention' or bank notes as using your body... but women like you don't need that kind of 'attention'." The timing was fairly suspicious since this was around the same time that Kim had posted the nude selfie that got the internet all in a tizzy, so it was pretty obvious who P!nk was talking about.
Then, later in 2017, P!nk appeared on What Happens Live, where she admitted that she was, in fact, talking about Kim and said that she threw some shade at Kim K because of the way she "went in on" Bette Midler. "If you go in on Bette Midler, you're probably gonna hear from me," she told host Andy Cohen. That attitude didn't endear her to Kim, so on to the hater list P!nk went.
Wendy Williams is known for saying it like it is and being unafraid to voice an unpopular opinion. In January of 2018, she chimed in on a set of racy photos Kim posted to Instagram and Snapchat. The photos in question featured Kim sporting Bo Derek braids and a body suit that was clearly straining to hold in all of Kim's bodacious curves.
Wendy brought it up on her talk show, The Wendy Williams Show, saying, "It is clear that Kanye does not pay attention to you. It's clear to me that you're desperately trying to stay in the spotlight." Kim doesn't like people telling her what to do with her body and she definitely doesn't care for people speculating about her marriage, so it's no wonder Wendy's considered a hater.
Much like previously mentioned hater Sarah Michelle Gellar, Kim and Kanye's cover of Vogue Magazine left Janice Dickinson seeing red. In December of 2016, she appeared on The Tomorrow Show where she dished about modeling and whined that "Even Kim Kardashian made the cover of Vogue, which just makes me want to vomit. It was crazy." When someone off camera asked Janice why she was upset to see Kim on the cover, Janice sputtered, "They're not-they're not models!" Then she went off on a long, somewhat self-deprecating, somewhat conceited rant about what models were like back in her day and how the Kardashians don't have the "measurements" to make it as supermodels.
Not content to just throw Kim under the bus, Janice also turned her sights to Kim's younger sister, Kendall. "We had to work on our own merit," she said in the interview before implying that the reason that the likes of Gigi Hadid and Kendall Jenner only got to the top thanks to their "96 million" social media followers pestering fashion establishments like Vogue to pay attention their favorite Instagram models. Kim's not one to take any smack talk about herself, let alone her sisters, so it's obvious she wasn't going to take this attack lying down.
Bette Midler, the legendary comedienne/songbird, also took on the reality star's nude selfie, writing on Twitter that if the world wanted to see a part of Kim that they've never seen before, she'd have to "swallow the camera."
While we personally find this hilarious, Kim clearly didn't see the humor in it. She clapped back hard at the Hollywood legend, tweeting, "hey @BetteMidler I know it's past your bedtime but if you're still up and reading this send nudes #justkidding." Even though she added the "just kidding" part, it's pretty clear to everyone that Kim was not kidding, not one little bit.
Blac. Chyna. The girl who broke Kim's only brother's heart. The mother of her niece, Dream. Blac Chyna has been at the center of Kardashian drama ever since Kylie Jenner got together with rapper Tyga, who has a child with Chyna. Shortly after news broke that Tyga was leaving his baby mama for Kylie, Chyna hooked up with Rob Kardashian and had Dream. The two even got engaged and got their own reality TV show.
Then, suddenly, it was all over. Chyna allegedly sent Rob a video of her kissing another man in their bed, so Rob posted explicit videos and pictures of Chyna, accusing her of cheating on him and using him and his family for money, exposure, and plastic surgery. Chyna then got a restraining order and, for good measure, sued him, Kim, and Kris Jenner for "sabotaging" her reality TV show opportunity. That lawsuit and the intimate betrayal of her brother are probably the reasons why Blac Chyna didn't make it to the "Lover's" side.
Chelsea Handler has never taken the Kardashians all that seriously. She's often lambasted the Kardashian Klan for a laugh before so that probably didn't land her in the Kardashians' good graces. But it was probably an interview Chelsea gave to Variety magazine that officially landed her on the hater list. After she was asked what the media could have done differently in regards to the way it covered President Donald J. Trump while he was a candidate, she stated that they treated him as he was still on a reality TV show. Then she made a pivot to the Kardashians, saying, "We've turned into a reality show. I blame the Kardashians, personally; the beginning of the end was the Kardashians. The way these people have blown up and don't go away --- it's surreal. Everyone is for sale."
Could there be anything more obvious than this feud? It all started when Kim's now-husband, Kanye West, interrupted Taylor Swift's 2009 VMA award acceptance speech to say that Beyonce should have won. Years later after Kimye's wedding, Kanye and Taylor publicly made up, with Taylor giving Kanye her permission to use their original dust-up in his song, "Famous." After the song came out, however, Taylor sang a different tune, claiming that she never gave her permission at all. That's when Kim released Snapchat videos of a phone conversation between Taylor and Kanye that proved that Taylor had at least heads up about what Kanye planned to do.
Once the videos were made public, Taylor, once again, changed her tune and claimed that she wasn't aware that he was going to use a certain profane word as part of the lyrics. To add insult to her injury, when the music video for "Famous" came out, it featured a Taylor Swift look-a-like lying naked in bed with other fame-hungry individuals. Maybe a bottle of perfume will be the key to heal this terrible rift. But probably not.
In an interview with The Telegraph in September of 2017, Sharon Osbourne covered a variety of topics, including everyone's favorite topic, Kim Kardashian. In the interview, Sharon tells the reporter, "Kim says she's doing everything in the name of feminism, but that's not feminism! If Kim wants to show off her body, fine. But that's not feminism, that's being a [ho, ho, ho, minus two]. And there's nothing wrong with being a [ho, ho, ho, minus two] but always remember what you are."
Kim did not care for that description of her or her brand of feminism and she made her opinions known. "First of all," she told E! News, "I think she said I said a quote about, 'I post nude photos in the name of feminism.' Never said that...if I post a photo, I post it because I like how I look. So she kind of misquoted me on that and I thought it just looked really, like stupid." To really drive the point home, Kim's sending her some free perfume, so we guess that will show her.
Kim's got so many feuds going on right now, we have no idea how she keeps up with all of them. Honestly, Kim must have had to google half of these feuds just to remind herself why she was so mad in the first place. Seriously, some of these feuds started when Kim only had the one child. Maybe instead of sending Valentine's Day gifts to her haters, Kim should start loving herself more and let all these petty beefs go.
