Sa’iyda Shabazz

Sa’iyda Shabazz is an award-winning longtime freelance writer and editor whose writing spans intersections of parenting, race, sexuality, gender, and socioeconomic status. A former writer and editor at Scary Mommy, her parenting work has also been published by the New York Times and The Washington Post. As a culture critic, her bylines include Autostraddle and her own pop culture newsletter released through Substack. Sa’iyda lives in Los Angeles with her family.
