Angelina Jolie‘s kids are not putting her “health at risk,” despite a bogus report claiming the actress’s children have been acting up since their parents split last year. Gossip Cop looked into the situation and we can exclusively set the record straight.
After referring to the actress’s six children as her “wildly energetic brood,” RadarOnline goes on to say they’ve been driving her crazy and it may be taking a toll on her health. A so-called “source” tells the site that the kids are misbehaving because they miss their dad, Brad Pitt, and also because they’re stuck living in Los Angeles. “These kids got very used to traveling the world; living out of a suitcase was the norm for them. Now it’s a boring life by comparison and they’re acting up.”
The outlet’s questionable insider goes on to say Jolie is determined to take care of the children all on her own, despite their alleged misconduct, and is “pushing people away who try to help, even her dad and brother.” The alleged source adds, “She’s neglecting her diet again and barely sleeping with all the worry and dysfunction that’s going on.” Gossip Cop, however, is assured by a source close to the situation that this is all inaccurate.
Naturally, raising six children while going through a divorce is inherently stressful, but the webloid’s assertion that the kids are unruly and negatively impacting their mom’s well-being simply isn’t true. And you don’t need to believe our impeccable insider. Jolie herself said in a recent New York Times interview that her children are her support system. “They really help me so much,” noted the actress. “We’re really such a unit. They’re the best friends I’ve ever had. Nobody in my life has ever stood by me more.”
What’s more, Jolie also told Vanity Fair in its September cover story, “I feel like I’m being smart about my choices, and I’m putting my family first.” She added, “I’m in charge of my life and my health. Basically, everything said about the actress by RadarOnline is wrong.
Additionally, Gossip Cop busted the website’s sister publication, OK!, when it made a similarly false accusation earlier this month. The tabloid claimed Jolie’s kids had “gone wild” in the wake of their parents’ breakup, but that wasn’t the case two weeks ago, and it’s no more accurate now.
Gossip Cop believes there to be elements of truth, but the story is ultimately misleading.
