The flight was en route to Charlotte, North Carolina from Miami when the altercation occurred. Another passenger caught the incident on camera, which was eventually posted to X (previously Twitter).
The video captures the man being restrained by three male passengers after allegedly becoming violent with the woman sitting next to him. One of the men shouts, “Do not f—-g touch her! I don’t give a f–k!” after attempting to hold the aggressive man back. Another passenger then yells, “Get your hands off of her right now!”

American Airlines Responds to Viral Video
It’s not clear what exactly started the altercation between the man and his companion. In the video, the man eventually responds saying, “I’ve been assaulted now” to which the woman replies, “No you weren’t assaulted. I put my hand over your mouth to make you shut up!”
American Airlines eventually responded via X stating, “Our first priority is the safety of the crew and our customers, and we take these matters very seriously.” The man and woman were allegedly escorted off of the plane in Charlotte-Mecklenburg.
