Talk about a #TravelFail. An American tourist was deported from Colombia for kicking and punching an airplane after missing his flight.

The chaos erupted after an unnamed U.S. citizen reportedly arrived late for a LATAM airline flight scheduled to depart from Bogotá to Cartagena on August 23, according to local media reports.
Footage of the man’s meltdown was originally shared on X. Of course, it has since reached all corners of the internet.
The traveler reportedly arrived at the gate after it had closed, leading crew members to deny him entry. Rather than accepting his fate, however, he foolishly bypassed the cordon and attempted to board the plane.
Upon discovering that the aircraft door was closed, the frustrated passenger threw an unforgettable hissy fit. In a three-minute Instagram video captured by a fellow traveler, the big crybaby is seen desperately kicking the plane door.
in the footage, the desperate man falls to his knees, pounding on the window as he pleads with the staff to let him inside. Of course, they do not answer his cries.
In a final act of desperation, he also attempts to manipulate the joystick on the boarding bridge in a bid to board the aircraft.
Eventually, police and security personnel apprehended the troublemaker. They transported him to the airport migration office, where he allegedly assaulted an official.
The man reportedly was deported mere hours later.

Of course, the man’s embarrassing hissy fit seems to be a masterclass in how not to react if you miss your flight. Denizens of the internet all seem to agree the man’s kicking, punching, and slapping of the airplane was beyond the pale.
An Instagram post featuring the footage was flooded with comments roasting the man.
“Even if it’s possible to open the door for him to board , does he think that cabin crew or captain will allow such a crazy person to be onboard ? 😂😂,” one Instagram user wrote.
“As an Aircraft Maintenance Technician, this makes me mad. Why take your anger out on the aircraft,” another user wondered.
